Dur-as Pammalian

Kalinisan Day · Oplan Dalus

Clean surroundings. Shared responsibility.

Kalinisan Day and Oplan Dalus are the same practice. Sitio Pammalian stays clean through monthly service and everyday habits—not a one-day event.
Kalinisan Day cleanup

Introduction

Clean streets are a community habit.

Litter, clogged drains, and neglected common areas affect everyone. Kalinisan Day—also called Oplan Dalus—invites the whole sitio, including the young already sweeping and clearing beside their elders, to keep Pammalian tidy as an ongoing practice.

Schedule

Every first Sunday, 7:00 AM.

Assemble at Area 1 (Dap-Ayan). Areas 1 and 2 are cleaned every session; Areas 3, 4, and 5 rotate monthly so every stretch gets equal care. Full zoning, attendance rules, and fines are in the playbook.

When

Objectives

What Kalinisan Day works toward.

  • Keep roads, pathways, and shared spaces clean and passable.
  • Clear drainage so rainwater can flow and homes stay safer.
  • Reduce hauling by composting biodegradables at home and segregating recyclables from residual waste.
  • Use the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for recovery—not as a dump for mixed garbage.
  • Build a culture where neighbors look after common areas together every day, not only on cleanup Sunday.
